Birthdays at The Regent

Every month The Regent celebrates their residents' birthdays. 

We have party once a month that celebrates all of our residents who have birthdays that month. 

We have cake, drinks, and a fun activity! 

Birthdays for the month of May were Mary, Pat, Barbara, Shirley, and Verna.

Happy birthday ladies!

Day Trips at The Regent

Here at The Regent we offer a variety of day trips for those who can't go far from home.

This month, we took a group to the Augusta Historical Society.

Our next day trip is to Greensburg to see the museum about the city's progress 5 years after the tornado! 

Then, our next stop will be Abilene!

The Regent 3rd Annual Luau

On Thursday, May 3rd, The Regent put on their 3rd Annual Luau!

There was delicious food, great entertainment, and Lei's for all!

Look What's Happening at The Regent!

Denim with Diamonds

At the beginning of this month we had our 1st Annual "Denim with Diamonds" country Western event. We served barbecue, featured the Border Bandits band, and voted for a Sheriff and Bank Robber. Congrats to Sheriff Don Ek and Bank Robber Jim Busey!

In addition to fried alligator tail, spicy sausage gumbo, dirty rice, shrimp etouffee, and drunken bread pudding were also served.

Staying Active at The Regent

Our fitness instructor Tiffany and resident Liz played a fun game of ping pong. 

Our residents love playing 1 on 1 ping pong, they love some healthy competition! 

Ping pong is a great and simple way to stay active and improve balance. 

Here at The Regent, our portable ping pong table makes staying active easy!
